Sports Venue Media & Technology Summit promises the opportunity to ‘connect, engage, commercialise’

A new annual venture from SVG Europe sponsor ADI UK, the Sports Venue Media & Technology summit will take place on 17-18 March in Preston, UK. The objective, says ADI, is to deliver 2014’s essential event for commercial, media and marketing executives from the British and European sports landscapes.

Tackling key issues faced by modern venues and the opportunities that connectivity and technology bring to enhance fan engagement and increase the global value of brand, SportsVMT will incorporate speakers from a variety of market-leading companies.

Specific features will include an exclusive unveiling of Adobe Anywhere – a ground-breaking collaborative production platform set to revolution the way in which clubs create and deliver content to fans within the venue and beyond – and an open debate hosted by The Cloud on the future of stadium WiFi and the commercial opportunities of the connected stadium.

Elsewhere during a busy two-day programme, EVS will refer to its C-Cast platform in exploring how the delivery of unique content to fans can transform the relationship with their chosen sport and venue; display technology and connectivity specialists ADI.tv will showcase its latest engagement platforms and discuss the changing commercial needs these offer venues; and Sky Sports and IMG, among other global broadcast organisations, will also contribute.
