SportTech 2017: Sony’s Mark Grinyer and Grass Valley’s Klaus Weber set to debate HDR

Mark Grinyer, Sony Europe’s Head of Sports Business Development, and Klaus Weber, Grass Valley’s Senior Product Marketing Manager – Camera, will be among the speakers debating the transition to High Dynamic Range (HDR) at SportTech 2017. The popular SVG Europe-organised summit will take place at the Emirates Stadium, London, on 7 June.

Is HDR the key to the successful widespread adoption of UHD? How does live HDR sports production change the way people do their jobs? What workflows do you need to adopt for the simultaneous creation of 4K HDR and HD SDR programmes? And how does HDR change camera shading, monitor setup in a production truck, and more?

Grinyer and Weber will be among those joining moderator (and SVG Europe senior contributor) David Fox for a lively discussion about the long-term implications of implementing HDR.
