SportTech UK 2013: detailed programme now available

SVG Europe has released full programme details of its 2013 SportTech UK event, which will take place on the afternoon of Wednesday 24 April at London’s Stamford Bridge Stadium – otherwise known as the home ground of Chelsea Football Club.

A lively and varied selection of panel debates and single-presenter sessions will include: The State of the Industry and a Summer of Sport; The 4K Future: When, Where and How?; the Second Screen Experience: Good for Business?; an examination of SVG Europe’s involvement with UK education initiatives; Spectrum Loss and the Threat to Sports Production; a case study on coverage of the Red Bull Stratos project; File and IT-Based Workflows and Live Sports Production; and a preview of IMG Media’s new facility.

Confirmed panellists include: Hamish Grieg and Barry Johnstone from CTV OB; Mark Grinyer from Sony Professional Europe; Duncan Humphreys from CAN Communicate; David Gibbs from Sky Sports; Petro Mynch from Arsenal Broadband; Andrew Cooper from MediaCityUK (Salford); Michael O’Sullivan from Ravensbourne College; Alan March from Sennheiser UK; and Shane Warden and David Shield from IMG Media.
