SportTech UK: Avid’s Scott Luehrs to talk file, IT-based workflows

Avid’s Scott Luehrs is the latest big name to be added to the roll-call of panellists for SportTech UK, the SVG Europe-organised one-day conference event taking place at Stamford Bridge Stadium next Wednesday (24 April).

He will contribute to a panel session on file and IT-based workflows and live sport production, alongside AmberFin’s Bruce Devlin, Aspera’s Arnd Kohrs, Adobe Systems Europe’s Matthew Gyves, Nevion’s Inge Hillestad, EVS’s Laurent Petit and IMG’s Shane Warden.

Luehrs is the global solution consultant on Avid’s Interplay Media Asset Manager (MAM) product team. He works closely with Avid customers, including major broadcasters, to provide solutions for their media enterprise needs. He’s been involved in the design of many large scale MAM projects, including the solution that was the backbone of NBC’s hugely ambitious London 2012 Olympic coverage. As well as working with Avid customers, Scott advises the Interplay MAM product team to ensure that customer requirements are driving the Interplay MAM roadmap.

Prior to joining the Interplay MAM product team, Scott worked in Avid presales as a global solutions consultant.
