SSL opts for Bronze SVG Europe sponsorship

Professional audio technology specialist Solid State Logic (SSL) has renewed its Bronze sponsorship of SVG Europe.

Active across the broadcast, studio and live sound sectors, SSL manufactures a range of analogue and digital audio consoles and creative tools, including the S400 console. Delivering flagship-level control for live-to-air broadcasts in a compact and cost-effective format, the S400 is designed for OB trucks, event spaces, music venues, or any environment where premium control is essential but space is limited.

The company is also known for its System T broadcast audio production system. This has recently been updated with the addition of native NDI to the System T Cloud platform. Supplementing the established Dante Connect audio transport, this addition enhances agility in virtualised production in several key areas by introducing cost savings and increasing flexibility. Enabling broadcasters to natively process audio from a range of NDI-enabled devices such as cameras and replay sources, its adoption of NDI not only lowers deployment costs, but vastly expands the range of connectivity options available to broadcasters operating in the cloud.

Other recent innovations include the addition of an enhanced Desktop Fader Tile Plus (DFT+) and a brand-new Desktop Master Tile Plus (DMT+) to its System T Desktop tiles. Used in conjunction with the company’s Tempest Control App (TCA), both tiles provide dedicated hardware control for studio based or remote engineers and can control processing paths both in SSL’s virtualised System T Cloud environment as well as deploying more custom workflows to existing applications.
