Streamstar brings the live sport streaming experience to SVG Europe as new Gold Sponsor

Streamstar’s streaming technology is used for all kinds of sports

Streamstar, a European company specialising in software development and design and manufacturing of hardware tools for live sports broadcast production, has joined SVG Europe as a Gold Sponsor.

Streamstar creates live production concepts and all-in-one live production solutions, designed to change the way live events are currently produced. Streamstar was also a pioneer of the IP revolution, designing a large scale remote production project for Italy’s Lega Pro in 2014.

Broadcaster 3zero2tv appointed Streamstar in 2014 to create a remote production, which used IP, for the launch of the Lega Pro Channel. This year 3zero2 TV, which has over 90 connected stadiums and 70 ENG crews covering the entire country of Italy, producing up to 30 simultaneous matches a day (over 1500 games per year), celebrated five years of live streaming operations with Streamstar.

Kevin Fitzgerald, sales and business development director at Streamstar, commented: “We’re pleased to become a member of the SVG Europe fold. Streamstar is offering a line of live production systems that are extremely user friendly, intuitive, with a high degree of automation and extraordinary flexibility.  A single operator can easily perform complex tasks and produce broadcast quality, multi camera video productions at a cost never before possible. Streamstar systems deliver professional results at minimal investment and they are being used all over the world by users ranging from small productions to large TV networks.”

Streamstar began in 2005 as a live production company pioneering the streaming revolution and producing live streaming of corporate and educational events, live sports, conferences, and more. It quickly became a leading company in Slovakia. After a few years with about 5,000 live productions carried out, the company developed production software to make streaming easier.
