Sunset+Vine International secures Henley Royal Regatta press contract

Sunset+Vine International, the media partnerships division of UK sports production and media company Sunset+Vine, has secured the Henley Royal Regatta press contract, extending the company’s media services to the annual British rowing event.

The contract – to provide all press output as well as management of the onsite media operation – complements the existing host broadcast streaming and television production services and the production and distribution of the Regatta’s social and digital content.

The press operation is being led by head of Sunset+Vine news Sabina Mollart Rogerson, supported by former Times journalist Matthew Pryor and a press team on site at the event which started today, Wednesday 11 August, and runs until Finals Day on Sunday 15 August.

“This is a significant appointment for our developing Media Partnerships division,” said Sarsfield Brolly, head of Sunset+Vine International. “We have valued the partnership we have developed with Henley since 2015 and are delighted to be able to expand our areas of operation and responsibility. As the media landscape shifts towards the proliferation of content across all channels and platforms this plays to our strengths at Sunset+Vine. As storytellers and creatives producing output in all formats our mission is to take that output to the widest possible audience whether it is a live television feed, a social post or a press release.”

Sunset+Vine has provided media updates in the lead up to the Regatta outlining changes to the event, entries and key names as well as how to engage with the Regatta on site and online.

Sunset+Vine’s Media Partnerships division is the distribution arm of the company providing live broadcast and streaming rights negotiation and distribution, social and digital production, and distribution and media press services. Clients include World Sailing, Ineos, Fédération Équestre Internationale and BBC Global News.
