Sunset+Vine to provide broadcast production services for T20 matches

Sunset+Vine, part of the Tinopolis Group, will provide broadcast production services for the forthcoming Twenty20 international matches between India and the West Indies, taking place in Florida. The two match mini-series, which was confirmed earlier this month, will take place on the 27 and 28 August at the Central Broward Regional Park Stadium in Lauderhill, Florida, USA. It is the first time that India will play the West Indies in the T20 format in the USA.

The series has been created as part of The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) efforts to take Indian cricket to new markets and audiences worldwide. It will allow cricket fans to see the world’s current no. 2 ranking side India, play current world champions, the West Indies for the first time in this format in the USA. Star Sports is the official broadcast partner for the series.

Huw Bevan, executive producer, Sunset+Vine, said: “We are delighted to be working with the BCCI on this exciting project that will showcase the very best in T20 cricket to a US and global audience. We will bring world class production to the game by adopting best in class T20 production values to complement the world class action on the field.

“Our set up will comprise of more than 30 cameras including six Super Motions, two Ultra Motion systems, Spidercam, Umpire Camera plus Hawkeye. In addition, there will be an array of graphic enhancements, statistics and value adds to showcase T20 in the best possible light.”

The announcement follows a series of recent high profile production wins in cricket that include the ICC’s Live Events Production Services 2016-2019; the ICC’s Non Live Programming 2016-2019 and broadcast production for the inaugural Pakistan Super League 2016.
