SVG Europe and Sky Sport Deutschland to host joint summit in Munich

SVG Europe and Sky Sport Germany are pleased to announce that our multi-year cooperation will continue with the return of the Sky Sport Summit 2019 at the broadcaster’s facilities in Unterföhring, Munich on 27 June. The title sponsor for the event is Broadcast Solutions.

Once more for this year, we look forward to panel discussions, presentations from the beautiful world of sports and beyond. We will get an insight into Germany’s most subscribed YouTube channel, explore future broadcasting themes and also get a look at how navy technology is used on manoeuvres – which is not so far away from TV technology as expected.

The story behind eSports will be on the agenda as well as the question of digital transformation and the future of broadcasting. And we will also consider the importance of sports rights, due to the constantly changing TV landscape in Europe.

The event will be hosted by Alessandro Reitano, vice president Sports Production at Sky Deutschland, and to date speakers include Dr Holger Blask, DFL; Christian Frodl, Sky Deutschland; Ken Goos, NBC Sports; Alexander Günther, Sportcast; Florian Diederichsen, DAZN; Thomas Höher, TEAM Marketing; Patrizia Mosca, In A Nutschell kurzgesagt; Thomas Nelson, Vizrt; Olivier Pfenning, commander of frigate Hessen; Thomas Riedel, Riedel Communications; and Daniel Url, Qvest Media.
