SVG Europe announces first speakers for Sound Talks – Inside Monitoring

SVG Europe is pleased to announce its next Sound Talks event, ‘Inside Monitoring’, which is taking place on 6 October at 4pm (UK time).

With the support of title sponsor Telos Alliance, registration sponsor TSL Products, and associate sponsor Genelec, the online event will take a deep dive into the challenges of Atmos monitoring in small spaces, and out into the broader discussion of monitoring for next-generation audio.

Speakers include Neville Hooper, deputy head of sound at NEP, Aaron Harte, sound supervisor at Sky Sports, and Berny Carpenter, audio product manager at TSL Products.

Also on the bill will be Genelec R&D director Aki Mäkivirta and Dolby Atmos mixing consultant David Loudoun.

Set to be a lively discussion covering the current and future challenges of sports broadcasting audio, the conversation, led by media consultant Roger Charlesworth, will encourage participation from the audience, who will be able to post questions for panellists, as well as join in the live chat themselves.

Senior delegates from across the industry have already registered to attend. These include representatives from BBC, RAI, NBC Universal, RUV, Antena Group and DAZN, with job titles that include director of sound design, audio engineer, sound technician, solution manager, product manager, producer and more.

To join them, register for Sound Talks – Inside Monitoring.
