SVG Europe Audio announces Sports Audio Summit 2024 with OBS’ Nuno Duarte and NBC’s Karl Malone headlining on Olympic sound

SVG Europe Audio is pleased to announce that registration has opened for the Sports Audio Summit 2024, with keynote speakers Olympic Broadcasting Services (OBS) senior manager for audio, Nuno Duarte, and NBC’s senior director of audio engineering for NBC Sports and Olympics, Karl Malone, headlining on Olympic sound.

Sponsored by Audio Technica, Sports Audio Summit 2024 will be held on Thursday 21 November at Kings Place, Kings Cross, London. Duarte and Malone will take the stage with ‘Lap of honour: Sound of the Olympics’, during which they will discuss how OBS bought the audio for the biggest sporting event on earth to viewers globally, while Malone exposes the enormous production behind the US rights holding broadcaster’s approach to audio, which bought it record viewing figures.
