Audio-Technica has a strong relationship with MotoGP

Audio-Technica is joining SVG Europe Audio live online for The State of Wireless Mics Forum, which is taking place on 4 June.

The discussion will focus on the full gamut of wireless mic technology, from spectrum and the issues it is creating for live sports broadcasting audio, to the technologies working to push boundaries forwards in this area of sound.

Lepges commented: “The SVG Europe Audio State of Wireless Mics Forum promises to be a great platform for industry exchange, and I’m excited for Audio-Technica to be part of it.”

The conversation will look at how advances in wireless microphone technology are delivering more creative opportunities for sports broadcasters to deliver visceral live packages. Crunchier tackles, real-time emotions and crisper sound effects that put viewers right in the centre of the action are all a key part of the live experience, but there are always challenges outside of broadcasters’ control.

The ability to exploit these technological innovations while staying within the boundaries of shifting radio frequency allocations requires strategy, teamwork and clever network integration from broadcasters and manufacturers alike – and RF spectrum issues on both sides of the Atlantic means everyone must work together to stay ahead.

In addition, Audio-Technica is to be the title sponsor of SVG Europe’s Sports Audio Summit 2025, which will take place on 19 November at Kings Place in Kings Cross, London.

More speakers to be announced soon.
