SVG Europe Audio: First speakers announced for the State of Wireless Mics Forum with Nexonic Design and Sound Devices

SVG Europe Audio has announced the first speakers for the State of Wireless Mics Forum. Jackie Green, director at Nexonic Design, and Gary Trenda, RF applications engineer at Sound Devices will be joining the panel live online on 4 June at 3pm (UK BST) to discuss the full gamut of wireless mic technology.

Nexonic Design is an engineering design and consulting firm. As well as a founder and the director of Nexonic Design, Green is a technical advisor to the UWB Alliance, and vice president of engineering for SubPac, a tactile audio company delivering new levels of bass and transducer performance and reproduction accuracy.

In 2020 Green was presented with the AES Fellowship Award for contribution to the sciences of microphone design and manufacture, microphone performance and measurement and for microphone and wireless microphone system education.

Meanwhile, Trenda’s recent gigs include the Latin Grammy Awards and Super Bowl LV for Sound Devices, an audio equipment design and manufacturing firm. Trenda has

also provided frequency coordination services for a wide range of events, including University of Wisconsin Football games. He is a current member of the Society of Broadcast Engineers and the Audio Engineering Society.

On the day, our panel of experts will discuss dwindling spectrum and regulatory issues in different regions, plus an examination of emerging wireless microphone technologies and insights into the future development of wireless microphones.
