SVG Europe FutureSport 2014: Devoncroft Partners’ Josh Stinehour to address broadcast technology trends

The final SVG Europe technology summit of 2014 – which is scheduled for 2 December at Lord’s Cricket Ground in London – will provide a welcome opportunity to both look back at the year (almost) gone, and ahead to the technologies and events likely to define 2015.

From the IP revolution affecting almost all parts of sports production to the evolution of ultra slo-mo replays, wireless camera systems and live 4K production, FutureSport will capture the excitement and opportunity of an industry that is always moving forwards.

A  busy programme will include a presentation by leading broadcast industry analyst Josh Stinehour (from Devoncroft Partners) about the key trends and developments expected to affect sports broadcast professionals in 2015. Commencing with a review of projections and expectations for the global sports market, the presentation will then reference excerpts from the annual Big Broadcast Survey, the largest and most comprehensive market study of broadcast technology purchasers. The session will also feature extracts from the IABM Global Market Valuation Report, the definitive market sizing and trend report on the broadcast technology sector.

Specific topics will include remote production, Ultra HD, multi-platform delivery and industry consolidation (both customer and vendors).
