SVG Europe FutureSport 2014: EVS, Grass Valley, I-MOVIX to discuss cameras and servers for ultra slow-motion replay

EVS market solution manager – OB & live production Laurent Petit, Grass Valley senior segment manager – live production Eric DuFossé and I-MOVIX CEO Laurent Renard will discuss the latest developments in ultra slow-motion replay technology during a panel session at SVG Europe’s FutureSport event at Lord’s Cricket Ground, London, on 2 December.

Live sports coverage continues to rely heavily on stunning ultra-slow-motion replays to be a difference maker in storytelling, and vendors continue to rise to the occasion. Capturing that compelling ultra-slow-motion image is just half the battle; replay-server/control operators in the truck must then create a clip that helps to advance the story on the field and offers the viewer a deeper look at the action.

In this session, to be moderated by SVG Europe contributor Philip Stevens, camera and server vendors, and the sports professionals who use them, will discuss the latest advances in ultra slo-mo technologies – including the very latest breakthroughs in 4K continuous super slow motion.

More panellists for this session will be announced soon.
