SVG Europe reveals Sport Production Award recipients

Sportsvision will be acknowledged for its groundbreaking technical achievement related to the use of graphics and tracking data for the America’s Cup in 2013 during the SVG Europe Sports Production Award Reception, to be held on the evening of 13 September in the RAI Convention Center.

The America’s Cup technical achievement will be honoured alongside three recipients for Production Achievement: OBS for the Sochi Olympics and FIFA TV and HBS for the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil.

“Our awards reception will once again serve as a great gathering point to celebrate what has been a tremendous period of sports production and technology excellence,” says Joe Hosken, SVG Europe, general manager. “The work done following IBC 2013 has laid the groundwork for future productions to build on as the industry transitions to meet the needs of sports fans around the world.”
