SVG Europe to launch dedicated monthly Audio Insider newsletter
In a move that underlines its commitment to covering what is arguably the most exciting period of change in broadcast audio for nearly 20 years, SVG Europe is to introduce a new dedicated monthly audio newsletter. The first edition of the Audio Insider will be distributed on Thursday 16 November and will feature detailed reports from this week’s Next Generation Audio summit. It will be sponsored by Clear-Com, which is also supporting the IP session at the NGA Summit.
Each edition of the Audio Insider will include exclusive interviews and reports with the vendors, sound engineers and service providers advancing the cause of broadcast audio in sports. There will be a particular focus on object-based, immersive and other next generation audio technologies, as well as coverage of IP-based workflows and emerging remote production techniques.
It’s a timely moment to introduce the Audio Insider as this Thursday SVG Europe will host its second annual Next Generation Audio Summit. The sell-out event will take place at Dolby’s Soho Square screening room in conjunction with Dolby and media partner Resolution Magazine.
