SVG Europe welcomes ADI UK as latest OB/SI sponsor

In a busy period for new sponsorship announcements, SVG Europe is delighted to reveal that ADI UK – one of the world’s leading providers of display hardware, content and connectivity to sports stadia – has become the latest company to join the OB/SI category.

Established in 2013, this sponsorship field already boasts some of the industry’s biggest and best, including Alston Elliot, Deltratre, Gearhouse Broadcast and NEP Visions.

ADI made its name in LED technology and stadium fan engagement platforms, and its screens and digital perimeter systems enjoy a dominant position in the UK football market. In 2014, ADI’s Live Venue broadcast fibre platform provides lightning fast connectivity to every stadium in the top three tiers of English football, delivering live FA Premier League and Football League matches to broadcasters and rights holders across the globe.

ADI’s suite of hardware, content and services is built upon over 20 years of market experience and helps clubs, venues, federations and broadcasters add value to their rights throughout the production process.

The company has recently been involved in a number of landmark projects, not least the creation of the largest digital media platform in European club stadia for newly-promoted Cardiff City FC.

The historic contract has seen more than 550sqm of LED product installed inside the stadium across three platforms: two giant Virtuality stadium LED screens, pitch-side digiBOARD digital perimeter and a higher tier of digiRIBBON digital ribbon that runs around the whole stadium bowl.

The three systems are able to operate independently, but also as a complete synchronised platform, dubbed Total Stadium Takeover, which provides the club and its partners with a fully integrated stadium-wide canvas to engage and interact with fans.

ADI produces much of the content across the platforms, with all three elements controlled centrally and completely live from ADI’s production galleries via the Live Venue broadcast fibre network.
