SVG Europe Women in Sports Media Initiative winter holiday event announced

SVG Europe has announced its Women in Sports Media Initiative winter holiday networking event, being held on 13 December 2017 at the DTG’s headquarters in Vauxhall, London.

Alongside drinks and canapés, attendees are set to enjoy an evening of networking with their peers, as well as hearing from editorial lead on the SVG Europe Women in Sports Media Initiative, Heather McLean, and Chair Lise Cosimi, chief of external relations at HBS, about the Initiative itself and why it is important for the sports broadcast industry.

SVG Europe contributing editor, Mclean, commented on the event: “We are pleased to be hosting our first winter holiday networking session for women and interested parties in sports media. Women in this industry need a forum to meet, support and share ideas together, and that is what we are trying to create, with the assistance of Lise Cosimi and Jennifer Angell, director of international project services at VER. At our event at the DTG we want to share why this initiative is important, how it can help you, how we would like you to contribute, and how we aim to grow.”
