SVG Europe Women is excited to announce the first speakers for its annual event at IBC in Amsterdam. ‘Women behind the lens: Becoming a great sports broadcasting leader’ – a panel and workshop session – will take place on Saturday 12 September from 4pm to 6pm at the First Floor Restaurant in the Rai.
Speakers confirmed so far for this learning and networking opportunity, sponsored by NEP, are IMG’s Charlotte Winter, senior director of technical production for studios, and Armelle Canet, HBS’ head of legacy and the Broadcast Academy.

Our panel will discuss all aspects of leadership, from pathways to higher roles in sports broadcasting, identifying and adapting your leadership style, communication for confidence, learning from challenges and failures, to balance, boundaries and burnout.
Following the panel, our experts will be available for separate conversations and questions from attendees in an informal workshop environment, before all can relax for networking and drinks.
