SVG Europe’s FutureSport 2013: Sony, AJA, PION, Canon and DVB to discuss 4K

The next instalment in SVG Europe’s acclaimed series of sports broadcast technology events, FutureSport 2013, will be taking place at The Kia Oval, London, on 3 December. A variety of panel discussions to be graced by some of the industry’s leading names will include a session on the undoubted hot-button topic of the year: 4K.

Manufacturers introduced a number of new 4K production tools at IBC in September, but there is still much work to be done to bring the format into the homes of sports fans around the world. Manufacturers and sports production professionals discuss the current state of 4K production, what is needed for next-generation devices, and what lies in store for 2014 as the World Cup readies for its 4K closeup.
