SVG Europe’s Sport Production Summit: save the date!

Hot on the heels of its highly successful SportTech event in London – which, with a delegate count of 200, was its biggest summit to date – SVG Europe has announced that it will host the 2014 Sport Production Summit in central Amsterdam on 11 September.

Scheduled to take place on the eve of flagship broadcast technology trade show IBC, Sport Production Summit provides a welcome opportunity to take stock of the latest industry trends and examine in detail the workflows involved with some of this summer’s leading tournaments.

The SVG Europe team will be joined by prominent industry executives, consultants and thought-leaders to discuss topics that are expected to include:

– The FIFA World Cup 2014 and second screen: the development of content anywhere, anytime, anyplace for the digital snacking generation;

– Immersive audio for sports: current initiatives designed at making the sports sound experience every bit as compelling as its visual counterpart;

– The Commonwealth Games: a look behind the scenes of the broadcast workflows for this year’s event;

– Ryder Cup: an exclusive preview of the broadcast infrastructure being readied for the 2014 tournament, which will take place from 24-26 September.

Sport Production Summit promises to be another essential instalment in SVG Europe’s busy annual programme of technology events, so don’t miss out – SAVE THE DATE – 11 SEPTEMBER 2014!

A full programme and list of speakers will be released in the coming weeks, so keep an eye on https://www.svgeurope.org and SVGE’s weekly newsletter for more details.
