SVG Europe’s SportTech 2014: register now!
In a little over a month, SVG Europe will stage the next in its increasingly acclaimed series of one-day technology events – SportTech Europe 2014. Taking place at Emirates Stadium on 7 May, the summit will examine emerging technologies and the ways in which they are shaping global sports production.
Following hot on the heels of March’s Football Production Summit – which attracted more than 100 delegats to Paris – SportTech Europe will occupy a broader canvas, looking at the hot-button issues affecting sports broadcast production per se across Europe.
Likely highlights of a packed programme include: acclaimed sports TV director John Watts discussing new technology’s impact on content production; Avid’s Craig Dwyer, Ixedia’s Mark Hill and Ericsson Broadcast Services’ Alexandra McDevitt on digital file delivery; TV2 Norway’s Christine Espeland and Jens Knudsen, and BBC Sport’s Richard Morgan on the evolution of Olympics broadcast; Gearhouse Broadcast’s Kevin Moorhouse and TV Skyline’s Wolfgang Reeh on new OB and studio projects; and Sky Sports’ Keith Lane, deltatre’s Carlo de Marchis, HBS’ Dan Miodownik and IMG Media’s David Shield on 2013 being a landmark year for sports production.
