SVG Football Production Summit 2013: register now!

Once again, the world’s most popular sport will step into the technology spotlight on 6 March in Paris for the Football Production Summit 2013, organised by SVG Europe. Panel sessions on the leading technology issues of the moment will combine with invaluable networking opportunities during a busy day-long programme.

Following a tour of host venue Stade de France and a networking lunch, delegates will be treated to a series of seven sessions featuring contributions from some of the industry’s most respected business and technology leaders. Following a keynote conversation with FIFA’s Stefan-Eric Wildermann about the organisation’s efforts to implement multi-screen offerings, the first panel session will take opinion from Riccardo Botta (Sky Italia), François-Charles Bideaux (Canal+), Nicholas Déal (UEFA/Event Broadcast), Martin Knight (BSkyB Sport) and Alessandro Reitano (Sky Deutschland) about the future of football broadcasting.

Stephan Würmlin Stadler (LiberoVision), Ofir Benovici (Orad Hi-Tec Systems) and Ian Wray (Hego) will examine the ways in which virtual graphics are changing football analysis, while Neale Connell (Alston Elliot), Paul Glasgow (Chyron) and Mike Ward (Reality Check Systems) will reflect upon the continued evolution of sports broadcast graphics. Meanwhile, federation and club perspectives will be offered in a far-reaching session drawing on the input of Tim Achberger (Sportcast/Bundesliga), Ignacio Arrola Albarracin (Mediapro), Nick Morgan (Premier League) and Petro Mynch (Arsenal Broadband).

The penultimate session of the day, addressing 4K, 3D and super slo mo, will feature contributions from Grant Best (BT), Robin Broomfield (BSkyB), Stephane Dery (Canon France), Mark Grinyer (Sony Europe) and Berti Kropac (Kropac Media). Finally, Nicolas Bourdon (EVS), David Collet (Opta), Carlo De Marchis (Deltatre), Richard Craig McFeely (TATA Communications), Christopher Rapaport (Netco Sports) and Henriette Sæther (Vimond) will reflect upon the multi-screen revolution and its implications for sports broadcasting now and in the future.
