SVGE Sport Facility Integration Summit: Roland Hemming to discuss stadium integration challenges

The next SVG Europe event, Sport Facility Integration Summit, will take place at the Amsterdam RAI on 12 February during ISE. One of the sessions will see SFIS co-programmer and RH Consulting founder/consultant Roland Hemming discussing the technical practicalities of ‘what makes a stadium’.

Long before a match is played, the broadcasters arrive or the spectators come into the picture, the stadium has to be built. Construction and development involve the integration of a wide variety of different technologies.

This presentation will set out the economics of stadium builds and the stages that audio, video and IT personnel have to go through in order to create a working sporting venue, drawing on specific examples including Hazza Bin Zayed Stadium and Lord’s Cricket Ground.
