SVGE Sport Production Summit: Morgan, Foulser to discuss Commonwealth Games workflows

The latest edition of the Commonwealth Games came to a triumphant conclusion on Sunday 3 August with a gala celebration at Glasgow’s Hampden Park. The evening set the seal on an 11-day tournament widely regarded as a glorious success for the BBC and host broadcaster SVGTV, the joint venture formed for the occasion by Sunset+Vine and Global Television.

In this far-reaching panel session at SVG Europe’s Sport Production Summit in September, key broadcast participants will discuss how SVGTV and the BBC put in place a plan to deliver consistency, quality and innovation of production, as well as a breadth of viewer choice.

Speakers lined up for the session – which will be moderated by SVG Europe managing editor David Davies – include Sunset+Vine Productions chairman Jeff Foulser and BBC Sport chief engineer Richard Morgan.
