SVGE SportTech: Jim Storey, John Watts confirmed for content production panel

European Tour Productions executive producer Jim Storey and acclaimed sports TV director John Watts will join CTV Outside Broadcasts’ MD, Barry Johnstone, to consider the extent to which new technology determines the nature of sports content – and vice versa – SVG Europe’s SportTech event on 7 May at Emirates Arsenal FC stadium.

In this panel, co-produced by SVG Europe and Barry Johnstone, senior production personnel at leading European broadcasters and production companies will examine the latest twists and turns of this long and seemingly intractable debate.

Award-winning John Watts has a long and prestigious roll-call of credits to his name, including the Rugby World Cup and Snooker World Championship. In addition to being executive producer at European Tour Productions, Storey is also set to direct coverage of this year’s Ryder Cup.
