Tata Communications to provide distribution of historic rugby match to 100 countries

Tata Communications has confirmed that it will be the Official International Connectivity Provider for The Master’s Rugby as RC Toulon, reigning European champions, take on leading Super Rugby franchise team The Sharks.

The first clash between Rugby Union club teams from the northern and southern hemispheres this century, the historic match will take place on February 5 at the Stade Mayol, France.

Tata Communications’ global network will deliver live coverage of the game to eight leading broadcasters across five continents. The match is expected to be watched by approximately 20 million viewers in 100 countries.

With over 300 hotspots across 125 countries, Tata Communications will provide uninterrupted video distribution to a global audience live from the Stade Mayol stadium in Toulon, France.
