Telestream renews Bronze SVG Europe sponsorship

Telestream’s Argus launched at IBC2022

Telestream, which offers products ranging from desktop components and cross-platform applications to fully-automated, enterprise-class digital media transcoding and workflow systems, has renewed its Bronze sponsorship of SVG Europe.

The move comes at the end of a busy year for the company, which has made multiple product launches and enhancements, as well as acquisitions in 2022.

Highlights include the launch of Stanza, a captioning and subtitling software product designed for companies of all sizes that enables captioning editors to work from any location from a browser-based editing console, regardless of where media files are stored.

Also new was Argus, a next-generation centralised video monitoring management platform that enables automated surveillance of each video transition point with data aggregation from monitoring probes across the video delivery chain.

Updates included a new version of Prism waveform monitor software, which bought new video format support for post-production applications beyond broadcast television, faster switching of IP inputs and Dolby ED2 metadata support, and version 3.5 of the Lightspeed Live Capture multichannel on-premise ingest solution. This added support for SMPTE 2110 with NMOS, NDI and SRT IP connectivity.

Telestream also acquired Encoding.com in 2022, with plans for combining the platform with the Telestream Media Framework, the underlying technology stack for nearly all Telestream products, revealed at IBC2022.
