Tennis Channel calls on Deltatre to revamp website and app

The website and app can be customised to fit a user’s preferences

Deltatre has been chosen by Tennis Channel to create and maintain a new Tennis.com digital ecosystem to bring the best of tennis to millions of fans across the globe. Tennis.com is the world’s most trafficked tennis website.

The new digital properties are powered by Deltatre’s Forge sport-focused publishing platform.

Tennis Channel turned to Deltatre as part of a strategy to establish its website and app as the global entry point and main destination for all things tennis. The resulting enhanced fan experience has everything in one place, directing users to news, video, rankings, podcasts, Tennis Channel and more.

Forge was chosen for its ability to increase productivity and team efficiency, removing workflows that require many time-consuming steps and freeing editorial teams to put together the most exciting and informative experience possible.

Alongside an array of new ways for users to immerse themselves in the sport, the new assets incorporate Forge’s fan engagement features, including live blogging, visual stories, whereby editors can deliver text, photos, and video in an interactive content stream.

The website and app are built with an emphasis on personalisation functionality. Both can be customised to fit a user’s preferences – including tailored push notifications linked to a fan’s favourite player.
