The Motorsport Show 2020: MotoGP series editor added to speaker line-up

Kevin Brown, North One’s MotoGP series editor for BT Sport, has been added to the speaker line-up for SVG Europe’s The Motorsports Show, sponsored by LiveU, which takes place this Thursday (6 August) at 3 pm UK time.

Brown is the latest guest to be added to a bill that already includes Formula 1 director of broadcast and media Dean Locke, Sky Sport Germany director of editorial and digital for live sports Karl Valks and Steve Stum, Nascar Production’s VP of operations and technical production. Gravity Media senior technical project manager Ryan Campbell will also appear.

In conversation with motorsport presenter Abi Stephens, Locke and Valks will talk about the return of F1 and how they are covering the action for television before moving on to discuss what broadcasting and technology innovations might come next for motor racing, and in particular for F1.

Stum and Brown will provide a similar analysis from Nascar and MotoGP’s point of view while Campbell will provide viewers with a technical insight into F1 coverage before, during and after COVID-19.

In addition, Ralf Schumacher – the former F1 driver, and now a pundit for Sky Sport – will discuss the F1 re-start, and what it’s like to be in motor racing’s COVID-safe bubble.

The Motorsport Show 2020 is a 90-minute live-streamed virtual event that will provide you with valuable insight into how the latest broadcast technologies and workflows are being deployed in response to ‘the new normal’. It will take place on Thursday 6 August at 3 pm UK time.

Participation in The Motorsport Show 2020 follows the same principle as regular SVG Europe events which are open to members and sponsors only.
