Timeline launches fourth graduate development programme

Following the success of its previous graduate programmes, Timeline has launched a fourth intake of its Graduate Engineering Development Programme for positions commencing in October 2021.

Timeline is looking for a group of enthusiastic graduates to train alongside its engineering teams for a variety of roles. The successful candidates will join the Timeline team, based at one of the following locations: the company’s Broadcast Centre in Ealing, West London; on Outside Broadcasts, Greenford, West London; or at BT Sport in Stratford, East London. The roles offer graduates an opportunity to learn and develop their television broadcasting knowledge at one of the most successful technical broadcasting companies in the world.

The vacancies now open to applicants are:

· Graduate Vision Engineer
· Graduate Camera Assistant
· Graduate RF Broadcast Engineer
· Graduate Media Systems Engineer
· Graduate Master Control Room Engineer

During the two-year development programme, successful candidates will undertake secondments to other departments, giving them the opportunity to expand their knowledge and develop practical skills for an exciting and rewarding career in broadcast engineering.

Adam Bevis-Knowles, Timeline’s head of graduates, commented: “As a graduate trainee, you can expect to put all the theory you have learnt at university into practice within an innovative organisation that will put you at the forefront of new and exciting developments in broadcast technology and prepare you for a career in the industry.”

Graduates will hit the ground running, working directly alongside Timeline’s skilled engineers, getting hands-on experience on-site at outside broadcasts and on studio productions for Timeline’s major broadcast clients. Timeline also offer graduates a mix of internal and external training, and they will be supported by a dedicated mentor for the duration of the scheme to aid their development and specialist training.

Applications close on 10 September and Timeline will be holding assessment days for shortlisted candidates from 20 September, with an anticipated start date in October. To find out more visit www.timeline.tv/graduate-programme.
