Vitec joins SVG Europe as a Bronze sponsor
Vitec, a provider of IPTV, video streaming and digital signage solutions, has joined SVG Europe as a Bronze sponsor.
The company designs and manufactures hardware and software for video encoding, decoding, transcoding, archiving and streaming over IP. Its end-to-end video streaming solutions enable customers to capture TV and video content directly from any source and manage its delivery, as channels or within digital signage screens, to any connected device via an existing network.
Recent innovations for the company include the Diamond C10 chassis, a modular high-end managed frame supporting Vitec’s OG encoding and decoding cards. Designed for IPTV distribution (encoding and streaming) to local area networks, as well as remote broadcast contribution, it is suitable for organisations looking for an easy, reliable and affordable way to create a digital IPTV head-end to stream a high number of channels.
In addition SignSync is a patented module to address synchronisation challenges faced when playing content across multiple end-points. As part of the EZ TV Platform, SignSync utilises existing end-points without the need for additional hardware.
A Vitec IPTV solution was also recently installed in the CO’Met Arena in Orléans, France. The owners wanted to create a dynamic visual experience for visitors by installing HD digital signage across the site while also ensuring that networked video content could be managed and distributed efficiently to screens across the multiple venue spaces.
Bryan Reksten, VP of marketing, Vitec, said: “At Vitec, we’ve seen significant growth in our sports and venues business in the US market, and we’re excited to collaborate with SVG Europe to strengthen our connections across Europe. Our advanced IP video and digital signage solutions enhance the in-venue entertainment experience by seamlessly delivering high-quality live TV, video, advertising, alerts, and more to screens throughout a facility. We’re eager to partner with European sports venue operators to help them captivate fans and audiences during events, and we look forward to leveraging SVG Europe’s platform to foster meaningful relationships.”
