Vizrt team poised to begin charity-aiding Pennine trek

A group of colleagues from content production and distribution tool specialist Vizrt will tomorrow (21 June) set out on the 50-mile (80km) Trek50 event, which challenges teams of four to trek 50 miles in under 24 hours around the Pennines on the Lancashire and Yorkshire borders.

The Vizrt team includes four members of the UK operation: Maja Trajkovska, Andre Cruz and Sean Curry, with a friend of Trajovska’s stepping in at a late stage for another Vizrt staffer, Mark Ryan, who had to drop out due to a knee injury.

The team’s epic walk is being made in aid of the children’s health charity, MedEquip4Kids, which provides equipment not available on the NHS in hospitals in the north of England for the treatment of children and babies.

At the time of writing, the Vizrt colleagues are 72% of the way towards achieving their target of raising £2,000, so would still appreciate SVG Europe readers’ donations – however large or small.
