W-Sport continues growth with KPN launch in the Netherlands
W-Sport, the 24/7 channel dedicated to women’s sport, has further extended its reach in Europe by launching with Dutch telecoms operator KPN in the Netherlands. W-Sport is available as part of the basic Ger KPN TV package on channel 37.
The news follows last month’s launch of W-Sport in Malaysia on the Astro platform, adding to existing broadcast deals in Belgium, Portugal, Luxembourg and in over 30 territories in Sub-Saharan Africa. The channel was launched in September 2021.

W-Sport has an extensive portfolio of football content with up to eight live football matches broadcast each week. With live games from the premium leagues in world football, Dutch audiences on KPN will see the very best players and teams every match week in England’s Women’s Super League (WSL), Germany’s Frauen Bundesliga, the USA’s NWSL and Sweden’s Damallsvenskan.
Additionally, W-Sport audiences on KPN will get the very best action live from Women’s Volleyball Bundesliga, Super League Triathlon and PAC 12 multi sport,s including basketball, gymnastics and beach volleyball from the ultra-competitive American collegiate system. Further W-Sport will also broadcast selected live events in tennis, athletics, boxing and more.
