Warner Bros. Discovery (WBD) Sports Europe has strengthened its association with The Olympic Movement by securing rights to show daily highlights coverage of the Milano Cortina 2026 Paralympic Winter Games on a pan-European basis.

The Milano Cortina 2026 Paralympic Winter Games will be available for millions of fans across 49 markets in Europe with premium coverage shown on a delayed basis on Eurosport in up to 20 languages, TNT Sports in the UK and Ireland, and streaming on HBO Max and discovery+.

Opening on 6 March in the Arena di Verona, the Milano Cortina 2026 Paralympic Winter Games will see more than 600 athletes competing in 79 medal events across six sports: Para alpine skiing, Para biathlon, Para cross-country skiing, Para ice hockey, Para snowboard and wheelchair curling. The Closing Ceremony will take place on 15 March.

Trojan Paillot, SVP sports rights acquisitions and syndication at WBD Sports Europe, said: “Being given the opportunity to broadcast daily highlights from the Paralympics at Milano Cortina 2026 on our channels and platforms across Europe aligns neatly with our guiding principles, commitment to inclusion and removing barriers to participation in sport.

“Furthermore, providing highlights content to viewers right across the continent will give hundreds of extraordinary and inspiring Paralympians the largest platform to showcase their abilities to an even wider audience. From a broadcasting point of view, the Paralympics will give us the perfect opportunity to extend our Olympic storytelling beyond the Olympic Winter Games Milano Cortina 2026 taking place the previous month as part of our unparalleled winter sports offer.”

The Paralympics will follow WBD’s coverage of the Olympic Winter Games Milano Cortina 2026 across Europe from 6-22 February – the third consecutive Winter Olympics the broadcaster has shown. Milano Cortina 2026 will be the first Games in Warner Bros. Discovery’s new rights cycle, announced in 2023 in collaboration with the EBU and International Olympic Committee (IOC), covering the next four Games including LA 2028, French Alps 2030 and Brisbane 2032. This extends WBD’s reputation as the Home of the Olympics in Europe having already delivered live coverage of every Olympic Games and Olympic Winter Games since PyeongChang 2018.
