The Tour de France begins on Saturday (29 June) with “wheel-to-wheel” coverage on Warner Bros. Discovery’s (WBD) channels and platforms, from the Grand Depart in Florence to the historic final stage in Nice on 21 July.

Max and discovery+ will air “every moment of every stage of Eurosport’s production shown live and uninterrupted”, with subscribers able to select multi-feed audio in their preferred language as well as scrubbing back to key moments in the race through the timeline markers feature.

WBD Group SVP content, production and business operations Scott Young said: “We are at the starting line of one of the greatest periods of cycling ever witnessed with all the action from the Olympic Games Paris 2024 sandwiched between the men’s and women’s edition of the world’s most storied stage race.

“Our position as the Home of Cycling enables us to convey the stories from the riders in the peloton to the widest possible audience across Europe, and by dedicating the same levels of production to the men’s and women’s races, our coverage of the Tour de France and Tour de France Femmes will be unmatched.

“We look forward to fans being able to feast on our extraordinary race coverage while diving deeper into the world of cycling with the release of captivating new content including Second to None.”

Eurosport will have live studio shows in the UK (The Breakaway), Spain (La Montonera), France (Les Rois de la Pédales) and Germany (Vélo Club), harnessing cutting-edge innovations and analysis tools together with local experts to further enhance the storytelling.

In tandem with its approach to covering the men’s race, Eurosport will produce live coverage of every stage of the Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift for Max and discovery+. From the Grand Depart in Rotterdam on 12 August to the iconic summit finish atop Alpe d’Huez on 18 August.

Eurosport is launching a new three-part series on the world’s greatest female riders, Second to None, co-produced with Sweetshop & Green and Yuzu Productions, and directed by Sonia Dauger. The fly-on-the-wall documentary provides unprecedented access to the Lidl-Trek team’s 2023 race and preparation. Episode one premieres on Eurosport 1, Max and discovery+ on 6 July, with episode two and three airing on 13 and 20 July respectively.

In a major summer of cycling in France, the Tour de France precedes the Olympic Games Paris 2024, with the first Olympic individual time trials taking place just six days after the finale of the year’s La Grande Boucle.

The third edition of the Tour de France Femmes follows on 12 August, just eight days after the women’s road race in Paris.

Capping off an unprecedented period for the sport, the year’s final Grand Tour – La Vuelta a España – begins on 17 August until 8 September. WBD’s channels and platforms are the only places to watch every stage from every Grand Tour and Olympic cycling event.
