Thomas Bostrøm Jørgensen, Appear CEO, welcoming attendees to the Winter Sports Forum
SVG Europe’s Winter Sports Forum took place in Oslo earlier this month, where speakers from FIS, ORF, OBS and more took to the stage to provide behind the scenes insights into events such as the FIS Alpine World Championships in Saalbach and a preview of the upcoming Milano-Cortina 2026 Winter Olympics.
The Winter Sports Forum, sponsored by Appear, explored the unique aspects of capturing live winter sports, examining the production and operational challenges and the tools and techniques used by federations, broadcasters and their partners to build audiences and immerse viewers in the action.
