IBC 2013: OASYS Automated Playout to showcase Chameleon
OASYS Automated Playout, an innovative supplier of automated playout software, will showcase Chameleon, a new product line that consolidates relevant OASYS software into a single optimal configuration for a variety of channel playout requirements.
Using proprietary OASYS software, the Chameleon set-up adapts to the broadcast workflow environment in which it is deployed to ensure that operating parameters for that specific environment are seamlessly configured to their most efficient use.
Fraser Jardine, vice-president of global sales at OASYS, says: “Chameleon epitomises our creative approach to product development and our corporate ethos to collaboratively develop playout solutions that readily adapt to and optimise our customers’ workflows rather than force them to conform to ours.”
Broadcasters of all kinds will benefit from the efficiencies created by Chameleon as one integrated playout solution replaces the need to engage with multiple vendors. OASYS servers can be quickly reconfigured and Chameleon can be adapted to fit broadcast workflows as they change and evolve, guaranteeing a return on investment for customers.
Fraser adds: “Chameleon is the best example yet of the flexibility and value-added strength of our software solution architecture. We believe it is the ideal way to ensure optimal performance and functionality, unique to every facility in which it is installed.”
