IBC 2013: SES to host 16 seminars
SES has announced that it will present its newest developments in the satellite industry with a series of 16 seminars at the International Broadcasting Convention (IBC) in Amsterdam. This is the fifth consecutive year that SES is organising business briefings that are intended for industry experts, customers and journalists.
The briefings will cover a wide range of challenging topics related to the broadcasting and satellite industries, with a focus on SES’ growing presence in the developing markets of Asia, Africa and Eastern Europe.
Besides providing useful insights into the future and relevance of satellite TV in the next decade and the market readiness for Ultra HD, the SES team of experts will talk about how high quality satellite TV content can be viewed on any IP-based devices with SAT-IP and IP-LNB technology.
This year’s briefings will also include the new opportunities that SES is witnessing in the satellite industry; the surge in demand for mobility services on land, sea and air as consumers expect to be connected anytime, anywhere and 2014, the year of international sporting events, where sports enthusiasts would expect to enjoy the comforts of their coach and watch live sporting events.
