IBC 2013: ToolsOnAir announces integration with Adobe Creative Cloud
ToolsOnAir has announced the integration of just:in multi, its powerful multi-channel capture and ingest solution for broadcast video professionals, with the latest versions of Adobe Premiere Pro CC and Adobe Prelude CC
A part of ToolsOnAir’s Broadcast Suite for the Apple Macintosh, just:in multi offers an innovative, multi-channel ingest solution that includes a host of features essential in today’s fast-paced video production environment.
The panel integration with Adobe Premiere Pro CC features multi-channel crash and gang recording while retaining the program’s growing file support functionality, providing the ideal workflow companion for live event recording and real-time editing, all within a single application. The provision of true growing file support for Adobe Prelude CC allows the operator to log metadata information on the growing file and dynamically send the logged clips to Adobe Premiere Pro CC for final editing.
“ToolsOnAir engineers have spent countless hours talking with our end-users to gain a better understanding of their editing needs,” explains Manuel Grund, product manager of just:in at ToolsOnAir. “This tight integration with Adobe Premiere Pro CC and Adobe Prelude CC has addressed many of those requests. We’ve enjoyed a great collaboration with Adobe, enabling us to create features and workflows to accommodate a wide range of live or post- production scenarios, delivering dynamic ingest and edit-while-recording capability within a single application.”
just:in is designed to seamlessly integrate into the 24/7 production workflow of any broadcast or IPTV station or post-production facility. Its flexible client- server based technology core and edit-while-ingest capability make it an ideal workflow tool for use with the new versions of Adobe Premiere Pro CC, Adobe Prelude CC and with multi-channel hardware interfaces from AJA and Blackmagic Design.
ToolsOnAir’s Live Cut multi-camera production solution, used in high-pressure live scenarios and network broadcast productions in the US and in Europe, has also been updated to seamlessly work with Adobe Premiere Pro CC.
