Significant Telos Alliance products at IBC 2015 center around innovations in the Internet streaming and audio processing spaces.

Z/IPStream 9X/2 Web streaming software integrates audio processing, encoding and handoff to streaming providers within a single unified environment. First, the audio program is optimized for bit-reduction using powerful Omnia® processing first developed for the groundbreaking Omnia.9 FM processor, including revolutionary “Undo” clipping restoration technology that reverses the damage done by “brickwall” audio mastering. Seven bands of audio processing and a full suite of test instrumentation complete the audio shaping suite. Then, genuine AAC and MP3 audio codecs from Fraunhofer IIS are used to encode audio for delivery to streaming distribution providers — with support for Adaptive Streaming applications that automatically compensate for the varying bit-rates that plague mobile listeners. Omnia VOCO® 8, debuting at IBC 2015, finally solves the issue of processing the many individual voices that listeners identify with your radio station. Occupying just 2 RU, VOCO 8 shapes as many as eight microphone inputs to audio perfection, achieving the impeccable voice presence your station’s staff and listeners crave. Features include eight studio-grade mic preamps with Phantom power, “Dominate-It” auto-levelling to spotlight designated presenters during shows with multiple mics, “Session Recall” to quickly recall configurations for entire shows, a 3-band noise gate and dynamics processor, 4 bands of parametric EQ, and a brick wall final limiter. Each of the 8 available channels can be networked throughout an entire facility using Livewire+™/AES67 Audio-over-IP.
