NAB 2013: Orad showing PowerPlay, PlayMaker for sports

Presentations of Orad’s on-air, studio, MAM, sports and video server solutions will take place throughout this year’s NAB. “Visitors to our booth will enjoy exciting interactive demos for the feel of endless possibilitirs Orad’s solutions can offer,” says Orad’s CEO and president, Avi Sharir.

Specific solutions on display will include: the VJ production server, which provices a tapeless workflow from ingest to playout for news, live events, talk shows and more; Blend, Orad’s file-based channel-in-a-box solution  for HD/SD video playout with 3D real-time graphics; the iFind broswer management solution for all media assets; RadioTV, which visualises radio programming by broadcasting the radio talent, real-time 3D graphics and promos as a multi-camera production; the Maestro graphics solution for real-time, pre- and post environments; and 3Dplay, described asn advanced channel-branding solution; the Morpho 3D character generator.

Orad will also be showcasing a number of products geared specifically towards sports applications. The fast-turnaround PowerPlay solution for managing live sports productions with capabilities including ingest and instant highlight editing integrated through a dedicated sports media asset management platform. Meanwhile, PlayMaker, Orad’s next generation sports replay server, provides up to eight I/O channels of high quality ingest in multiple video formats, with synchronised slow motion replay and a variety of editing tools. Then there is MVP, which provides fast preparation of sports highlight clips to better visualise critical plays, the flow of the game and post-game analysis.
