CVP announces dates for its third Production Technology Showcase

CVP, a European reseller and provider of professional video and broadcast solutions, will be holding its third annual Production Technology Showcase this year at four different locations in Europe and the UK. The events of this year’s expanded program kick off on Thursday 5 October at CVP’s European HQ in Brussels, before moving on to be hosted in Glasgow, Manchester, and Bristol during November.

The CVP Production Technology Showcase provides the perfect platform for visitors to explore the latest production solutions, technology, and insights across a wide range of the company’s products and services, from engineering and repairs to finance and technical advice. This year’s showcase includes crew favourites such as ARRI ALEXA 35, DJI Ronin 4D, RED Komodo X, Blackmagic and the latest releases from the Sony Cinema Line and Canon’s EOS range.

Newly expanded this year to include workshops and presentations alongside the already established mix of hands-on product demonstrations and networking opportunities, the showcase has built a reputation with the production community for being genuinely hands-on. The equipment and different product areas are set up as rigged solutions, rather than simply in ‘display mode’ as in a typical trade show.

The workshops will run throughout the day — across two days in Manchester and Bristol — and the focus will be on real-world case studies featuring expertise and guidance from both CVP experts, industry representatives, and key suppliers to the industry.

“The Production Technology Showcase has become a really important event in our calendar, and we are delighted to be able to roll it out further than we have before, enabling us to get face-to-face with our customers both in Europe and around the UK,” said John Fry, CVP CEO. “The industry is changing rapidly once more, and it’s perhaps more important than ever for our customers to be able to get hands-on with the latest kit before making buying decisions that will affect their business over the coming years.”
