ABonAir live on air at the FIFA World Cup

ABonAir, a provider of wireless broadcast transmitters, has revealed that its wireless broadcast systems are covering the 2014 FIFA world cup throughout different stadiums in Brazil. ABonAir’s wireless broadcast systems enable camera teams to transmit broadcast sessions directly from a camera to a media centre (or production truck) over the air without the restrictions of cable connections.

With tens of thousands of on-site viewers (and their mobile devices), live RF cameras, high-powered radio microphones and constant wireless communications at each fixture, FIFA venues are extremely crowded RF environments. Despite the challenges of wireless congestion and interferences, ABonAir is delivering coverage and wireless performance during the 2014 World Cup matches.
