Adder Technology has introduced the latest addition to its AdderLink Infinity range, delivering new features and capabilities for its customers to maximise their IP KVM matrix environment. The AdderLink Infinity 102T (ALIF102T) is an IP KVM transmitter that delivers video, audio and USB over a single cable in a ZeroU form factor with HDMI and DisplayPort options. The ALIF102T introduces an unmanaged matrix feature to the AdderLink Infinity 100 Series, improvements and enhancements to network configuration and diagnostics tools, and remote support capabilities.
Designed to meet customer needs, such as scalability, maintenance and support, the ALIF102T introduces a suite of new features previously unavailable in the ALIF100 Series. These additions evolve the capabilities of the product as users look to push the boundaries of what IP KVM can deliver and improve their workflows accordingly.
The ALIF102T can be added to an AdderLink Infinity matrix in an unmanaged mode. In this scenario customers can start their KVM matrix with up to 16 sources and rapidly switch between them without the need for a centralised management system. As their KVM needs expand, they can simply incorporate an AdderLink Infinity Manager and add more endpoints to scale their matrix to an unlimited size.
In some mission-critical environments, customers prefer a static IP address for connected endpoints on their network, as it can enhance stability, security, and reliability in some situations. Previously unavailable in ZeroU form factor in the AdderLink Infinity range, static IP addressing can now be achieved with the ALIF102T.
Adder has also introduced new debug logs, improved statistics visualisation, and the ability to provide remote support to the ALIF102T. These highly requested features will assist customers with troubleshooting, network analysis, and expedite technical support when the ALIF102T is connected to the internet.
Enhancing the process for customers to upgrade Adder’s products is essential for improving the user experience. With the ALIF102T, Adder has reduced the number of upgrade steps by half, speeding up upgrades throughout the matrix. Additionally, if a customer needs to revert an upgrade, they can switch back to the previous firmware version with a press of a button.
John Halksworth, senior product manager, Adder, said: “Introducing the AdderLink Infinity 102T is an important step forward for our customers as they attempt to manage more and more complex network environments. We believe the new features in the ALIF102T not only address key management and configuration settings that will simplify the user experience but also provide significant scalability and flexibility to adapt and manage their IP KVM network the way they need it.”
