AJT Systems’ 2nd-Generation LiveBook GFX Makes Splash at NAB

At last week’s NAB Show, AJT Systems debuted its 2nd Generation LiveBook GFX scorebug, which garnered attention from attendees and was named a StudioDaily Prime Awards Finalist in the Post Production Tools Category.

AJT’s latest offering delivers stunning broadcast templates and a redesigned user interface. The score bug is highly portable and designed with usability as a key factor. The unique interface supports a preview channel and on-air output monitoring to minimalize operator error. Also included in the system is AJT’s Camino intuitive and feature-rich editor, which enables fully customized, sophisticated on-air looks.

“I was really impressed with LiveBook GFX system,” said StudioDaily Judge Nathan Adams, Producer and Post Production Supervisor at Cinematomic. “It’s a well-thought out, feature-rich solution for sports graphics on broadcast television. If you’re looking for a solution to integrate a new solution for live scores and similar graphics into a live sporting event, look no further.”

For each sport, the LiveBook uses a specific “SportsApp” that has a custom user interface to ensure quick and accurate data entry, and easy setup for stadium scoreboard systems. Currently, AJT Systems is supporting Basketball with its SportsApp, and plans on adding Soccer and Baseball in the coming months.

AJT Systems reports a successful NAB 2014, with their booth receiving a steady flow of traffic from a wide spectrum of the sports production industry.
