Appear reports 46% revenue growth in 2024

Appear has announced revenues of NOK606 million in 2024, up from NOK418 million in 2023, and an operating profit of NOK73 million (33). Growth, innovation and positive development are expected to continue in 2025.

“2024 was another year of strong, sustained growth, driven by both new customer acquisitions and increased demand from our existing customers. Our flexible, space- and energy-efficient solutions are gaining traction across the live production value chain, helping us capture market share in an industry driven by a fierce race for the best content rights and most attractive productions. By continuously building organisational strength, expanding our product portfolio and refining our go-to-market strategy, we are well-positioned for continued profitable growth in 2025,” said Thomas Bostrøm Jørgensen, chief executive officer of Appear.

Appear reported total revenues of NOK606 million (417) in 2024, and EBITDA of NOK78 million, up from NOK35 million in 2023, and an EBIT of NOK73 million (33).

The company will continue to focus on organic and acquisitive growth, and has signalled that capital market transactions, including a potential listing on the Oslo Stock Exchange, could serve as a catalyst for further expansion. With global brands like Netflix, Amazon, Google, NBCUniversal, and Formula 1 on the customer list, Appear is well-positioned to capitalise on the surge in investment in live TV content worldwide.

“When the world tunes in to watch elite athletes compete on the global stage or experiences the intensity of a high-stakes sports event, Appear is instrumental in acquiring and processing world-class content that is delivered in real-time to hundreds of millions of screens and devices. Our ambition is to be the fastest-growing and most profitable company in live production technology. With several new high-end customers joining us in 2025, we’re already scaling new heights.” Bostrøm Jørgensen concluded.
