Arqiva to provide global HD distribution of ATP Tennis

Arqiva has signed a contract with ATP Media, the broadcast rights and production arm of the ATP World Tour, renewing its deal to provide live global distribution of the ATP World Tour Masters 1000 series, Barclays ATP World Tour Finals, and the ATP World Tour 500 series. Arqiva has provided ATP Media with global distribution for three years already, but the renewed contract supports ATP Media’s move to global HD distribution of the tournaments.

Arqiva provides the satellite capacity and teleport services to bring the live feeds from the tournaments, which take place in venues all around the world, and turn them around onto a range of satellites for global distribution to Europe, Asia and the Americas. For the biggest tournaments Arqiva will be simultaneously handling 25 feeds and using over 150MHz of satellite capacity.
