ATG Danmon plans extensive broadcast systems showcase

ATG Danmon will promote its all-embracing range of broadcast systems planning, design, installation, commissioning and post-installation support capabilities at IBC2014. This includes workflow optimisation for live and file-based production environments, media asset management and archiving, signing, post-production, presentation and playout, as well as OB production trucks and satellite link vehicles.

Exhibiting on stand 8.B51, ATG Danmon will be represented by Christoffer Kay (managing director), Clive Northen (chief operating officer), Tim Felstead (head of sales & marketing), Dave Whitaker (senior project manager), Jonathan Hughes (head of systems integration) and Chris Elson (product sales manager).

“Efficient software integration is becoming an increasingly important element of multimedia systems design, accelerated by the growing use of file-based data management for local content networking and wide-area distribution,” comments Clive Northern. “ATG Danmon has unsurpassed experience in designing and delivering successful file-based systems. These allow efficient content sharing and the handling of multiple signal standards within an operator-friendly control environment.”

“Careful product selection and configuration are necessary to ensure every new system has the flexibility to match the client’s preferred workflow,” adds Jonathan Hughes. “Also high on our priority list is the ability to ensure each system we design has a long useful life and can be future-proofed to accommodate extra channels as well as new signal coding standards. The latest developments in IP networking are attracting a high level of interest, both among broadcasters and independent content-management organisations. If you don’t already know the operational and cost-efficiency advantages this has to offer, come and talk to us at IBC.”
